KELSO, WA – A girl says a man tried to grab her off the street while she was trick-or-treating on Halloween. It happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday. She kicked him in the groin and ran. She was not hurt.
The girl says the guy got out of a white utility van that had followed her for a bit before stopping. He’s described as a white man, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.
A short time later, Longview Police responded to a report of a similar vehicle possibly following trick-or-treaters, but officers in both cities say they did not find a suspect, nor any surveillance video showing the incidents.
